Regular Checkups

Patients should make every effort to maintain routine checkup appointments.  These appointments are recommended at least once every six months.  By making these bi-yearly exams a routine, it allows Dr. Carley to diagnose problems the patient may not even know exist.  Early detection of decay or other oral health concerns may allow the case to be managed in fewer visits and with less financial costs to the patient.  These routine visits consist of:

  1. A thorough exam of the oral cavity including gums, cheeks, tongue, and teeth.
  2. All old restorations such as fillings and crowns will be checked at this time.
  3. Cleaning and polishing of teeth
  4. Oral cancer screening
